Have we ever been a victim of insomnia or simply can not sleep and spend hours and hours wandering in bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about nothing or maybe imagining our dream life?

There are things that someone normally does when they can not sleep, But everything depends on the person because many things can be done when the dream does not arrive.


1) You could have a cup of tea: Some work to calm the anxiety and relax, you can go to the kitchen for a moment and prepare a tea, enjoy its smell and take it very calmly. You may after a while you feel relaxed and you can sleep after not being able to do it.

2) Reading can always be the best ally of a person who can not sleep because when we read before bed, our sight can get tired and makes us sleepy, so you should always have your favorite book close to your bed and read that interesting chapter that has you trapped, enjoy the habit of reading.

3) You can take a bath before bed: When we bathe before bed we feel relaxed, clean and fresh, almost as new. That's why we can shower before bed, it's is a way to feel fresh and ready to get into the bed and enjoy a night's sleep. You can choose to add rose or lavender water in the bathtub, that way they will help you to feel relaxed and calm, relieving all that stress that does not allow you to sleep.

4) Sometimes watching TV before sleep can make you sleepy: You can try to watch a movie, a series or some documentary and without realizing it may suddenly start to close your eyes and you are sleepy. But do not forget to turn off the tv, you can schedule a time to turn it off, it works on many occasions. It's something I recommend because I've put it into practice and it has worked for me.

5) Try to leave your mind blank: Stop thinking about all those things that overwhelm you. In many cases we can not fall asleep because we have problems, stress and that does not allow us to rest, then stop thinking so much and it removes the problems of your mind. Everything has a solution, and it is important that you have your hours of rest, so you must free your mind of everything that affects you, so you can see how in minutes you can reconcile your sleep hours.

These are simple steps that you can try when you can not sleep. It is a very common problem and frequent in all the people around the world, because we know that everything is not perfection and sometimes we can have problems to enjoy those hours of rest. Do not forget that it is important to rest to recover the energy that we lost during the day.
