Today i want to share something very uniqe and special with you
I am proud member of the BlackValleyBowhuntersClub
and last weekend we had our 1st tournament called 1. Adventure Tour
It was realy an adventure for us, the 35 archery guests and all visitors. We invited the best archers from our region in each category.
We started preparing for the tournament on saturday the 1st July and had a lot of work & fun
All BVBC members and the head of Bowhunters Club Emmerberg Heinz Hoffmann was hardly working to make this event uniqe and famous in the scene.
We put up this selfconstruction steel tent and prepared special shoots with 31 3D targets after cutting down the jungle and reed. It was very hard work, we all let our blood and sweat there in the jungle but it was worth it :-)
Special thanks to BC Emmerberg and their head member Heinz Hoffmann for helping us and let us do our own tournament in their place with their 3D targets and their equipment!
Our tournament started on saturday 8th July and we came together at 9 am to do the final event preparation - except me i was 1 hour to late because of studying some charts :-)
This is Geri, Rudi and Martina waiting for the guests
Kurt managed the registration and later the list of the best
Philip and Heinz cooked a very good bacon and beans dish in the fire boiler.
Meanwhile our girls prepared and later managed the bar with cool drinks, coffee and selbaked sweets.
Member of honor Jo shoot the spear-arrow-slingshot
Member Martina also doing good shots with it
and me doing some wide shot trying to hit the target - i failed multiple times, its not as easy as it looks like
Finally around 2 pm all our guests arrived and our head member Wolfgang Hanika started the event a little bit later
4 members and me from our Club was the 5 group leaders and took our 35 bowhunter guests to the 5 starting points of the adventure tour with scandinavian scoring
We starting hunting the beasts at 4 pm and it lasts about 4 hours to complete the 1st round, it well organized so we had enough to drink and eat at this crazy trip in the hot afternoon.
I am sorry that i have no pictures from the tour but i was very busy as the score writer and group leader but you will see some impressions from our sunday round at the bottom of this post.
After this long first round we had the delicious bacon and beans meal.
While the guests shot ballons at our tombola - yes they have to shoot their price - Heinz, Jo and me hurrying through the course with 30 torches fixed on sticks and hammers to light the targets for the night round
At 10 pm we started the Hunter Round in the dark, but only with 28 targets (it makes no sense to shoot the hidden shots again with lights)
Hunter Round means
you are allowed to shoot only 1 arrow per target
so if you shoot into the Kill 20 Points,
if you shoot the animal (not kill) then 16 Points
and if you miss the target - 0 Points and that hurts
We finished this Night Hunter Round in about 3 hours and the latest came back at 1:30am sunday
I am so proud to tell you
I made the 3. place in my category RecurveBow (instinctiv shooting) and Jo our member of honor made the 2. place
Jo i will beat you some day :-) - i am trying it since 3 years
- place goes to Jürgen who is the very best bowhunter i have ever shoot in a round with - congratulation you have awesome archery skills
Nina Hanika 2.head member, Wolfgang Hanika head member, Tom Elias (me) 3.place, Jürgen 1.place, Jo 2.place
Also our member Martina made a price with her 2. place in PrimitivBow (like Selfbow) class

Before we got the results and do the award ceremony we enjoyed this insane fire show from one of our special guests Christian

Very good pictures
Here are the 4 short videos for you
After the ceremony we sit together until 5 am and then i sleeped 3 hours on the backseat from my car.
In the morning i stood up and made coffee for all campers.
At 10 am i started with Rudi and Wolfgang from our Club an extra shooting round because they were workers the day before and they wanted also to shoot this special parcour.
