Yesterday, we were on the farm and today we are in Vegas! I find myself in an incredibly thankful state of mind. It wasn't long ago that I was working all day at a job that I didn't love and now I find myself doing what I love pretty much constantly. At this point, it seems weird to live any other way.
This has been a long journey for me because I always had trouble with the question of what I wanted to do for a living. I've known what I am passionate about, but never found a way to make a career out of it without altering it so much that it was no longer what I really wanted.
For a long time, I have said that my time is much more precious than money. Even still, I would spend a part of my time working on things to earn money to give me more freedom to do what I wanted to do in my "spare"time.
I guess it's still true that I do that but it's on a tiny scale at this point. running my little Amazon store takes about 2 hours a week and that is where all my fiat is coming from at this point. I would not feel comfortable spending all my Amazon profits on living expenses if I didn't have my crypto investments.
Speaking of crypto investments, STEEM and EOS are killing it right now! I was saying the other day that it looks like BTC has turned the corner and we are entering a bull market again. I am feeling that even stronger today and loving to see EOS and STEEM lead the way!
I am speaking at the Steem Creators Conference this week and that's part of the reason I am in this current thought process. @lindseylambz and I are living our dream and that is exactly what we are talking about at the conference.
As we have started on this journey, we have noticed that a lot of people would love to be living a similar life style but feel like it is crazy that we are able to do it. It's honestly not very hard at all. It's like anything else that is worth accomplishing, you have to be persistent and put in the work.
If you're doing what you love, it is a totally different way of working. What I do now does not feel like work as opposed to when I was working in construction or as a mechanic just a few short years ago.
Really looking forward to hanging out with some of my Steem friends the next few days. I will try to make some posts and even videos to share the awesome time we are having here in Vegas. Had to make this one fast and dirty, hope y'all don't mind. It's time for us to check out of the Air BnB and get going.
