How to make great pizza and keep your kids away from technology for a few hours!

My kids are in love with these frozen french bread pizzas that I buy from Sam's Club. Yesterday they told me that we were out of them. They asked me to go to Sam's and get some more. I told them just to make their own pizza - I was joking. They got so excited at the idea that I decided that it was a good project that we could do together. So we made pizzas!

Then stir in the salt and the cooking oil.

Then stir in 1 cup of the white unbleached all purpose flour. Expect the dough to get harder as you stir. Sprinkle another half of a cup of flour over the sticky dough.

Using about another half of a cup of the flower press it into the dough until the dough is covered with flour and no longer sticky.

Place the dough on a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about five minutes. Then let the dough rest for about five minutes. Knead the dough for a few more minutes and gather it into a ball.

Smear a little oil around the inside of the bowl. Put the dough into the oiled bowl.
Flip the dough once and cover it with plastic wrap and a towel. Put the dough in a warm place and let it rise for about 1 1/2 hours.

Divide the dough into four equal portions. At this point preheat the oven to 450°F. Roll out the dough to desired size. Then place it on a lightly oiled tray. Bake it without anything on it for five minutes.

Then spread the pizza sauce on the dough.

Then add all the other toppings that you wish. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
