NASA's New Dream: Alpha Centauri

Alpha Centauri.png

By the Moon, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto, NASA stared farther away. First, in 2016, John Culberson expressed that NASA should go to the Alpha Centauri star system in 2069.

This idea has been on the agenda again for the past year. One of the topics spoken at the American Geophysical Union Conference in 2017 was that the Alpha Centauri sent a vehicle to the star system. In 2069, the project planned to be alive in the 100th year of NASA's going to the Moon has not yet found a name.

Alpha Centauri is about 4.4 light-years away. If the spacecraft to be designed can reach speeds of up to 10% of the light speed, it can reach Alpha Centauri in about 44 years. The Voyager 1 spacecraft, which was sent to space 40 years ago, continues to travel at speeds well below 1% of light speed.
