Being homeless and helping homeless (disabled) people

Let a homeless disabled person use my laptop tonight at the hotel to check their email.

Almost wish I could get them a room. But that isn't really my problem as I have myself to take care of as we all do. So I found a new place to use my computer while at Foxwoods casino in a business center area. I have a comfortable chair to sit in as opposed to some harder chairs I sit in some places that have internet access and a power plug handy to stay plugged in.

While I was getting ready to do some stuff online a disabled homeless woman came in to use the computer. Seems she expected to use the computer for just a few dollars. The computers here charge $8 initially and some amount per minute after ten minutes. Realizing this she asked me if she could use my computer and give me a few dollars. She ended up not giving me anything and asking if this was okay. Which I have no problem with as I am happy helping people. In fact it is something I have tried to do much of my life. Part of who I am and also from being a Boy Scout that made it to Eagle Scout.

Talked briefly about being disabled and how the system and government make it difficult for people who are disabled. She used to be / is a psychologist. Going to help her get some water and food. Sorry for cutting this short. Thank you for reading.

She said, "I'm tired and need a place to sleep. What should I do?" and also something like, "I am going to make it right?", "You think I am going to make it right?" Not sure how much I can help or not. But will give this a shot and see how much I can help and if I don't have to run away...

Going to let her check her email again to help her out. :) Thank you and Namaste!
