Calm, cool, collected at Ease is only possible within "Slowing Down." The art of "slowing down" is often referred to as "Zen". That way of being originates in Japan.
"Zen" is synonymous with meditation and introspection.
The real way of the Zen Master is in living "Zen" it's a becoming...and or a "stepping into"...It's a point of self-acceptance...where you fully Embrace Here and the starting point of movement stems from the core of ourselves as Breath.
Slowing Down is a universal point that everyone has practiced to varying degrees.
I bring up the wisdom of the tortoise as a friendly reminder:
Play around with deliberately doing something really slow. Whether it be with the structure of your blog and the organization of your words, making a meal, making love, working out, bathing, whatever...

Play and Practice, "Slowing Down".
Super Easy Practical Example
Tune inwards to your reactions.
People will trigger your 'buttons' the emotions and feelings. Both negatively and positively. Investigate the origins of these triggers. It's not actually really got anything to do with the person who 'triggered' you. It has so much more to do with the deeper layers of ourselves. These things are mostly hidden and veiled as the deeper parts of our unconscious mind. However, these 'deep points' are the things that trigger us....can in a way be 'hacked' by utilizing the moment we are triggered as an opportunity for depth of introspection. This is a paradigm shift of sorts as each and every individual who triggers us, is in someway becomes a 'guide' in providing support.
Self-Forgiveness as an added tool to daily give yourself. It's an interesting point. From a psychological perspective, it's one of the things that is most often dismissed as not necessary. It's fascinating how many people will tell you they don't believe it to be that important in the bigger picture of the world. The irony is that it is paramount....as it reflects our individual ability to 'slow down' and real be pro for giving with ourselves.
When we are in a 'rush' there's simply no time to forgive and forget.
Flow and rhythm create an Eloquence of sorts, ....which, emerges in taking/creating/directing the time to 'slow things down' that's the real art of Zen. It's in creating Space to play here.
How many breaths do you take in a single day?
How many times do you step to align the body with a good stretch and or exercise?
Life is a 24/7 Play Work. What's your Play? What you working on?
Walking is Zen, sitting is Zen. Talking or silent, moving, unmoving, the essence is at ease. The essence is at ease: that is the key word. The essence is at ease: that is the key statement. Do whatsoever you are doing, but at the deepest core remain at ease, cool, calm, centered.
