I do enjoy these types of meetups, they're a lot more casual and personal. An interesting mix of people, some a bit more "special" than others, as the top left pic clearly shows :P

We usually come and go as we need to. Some arrived at 11.30/12pm and left at 9pm, some left at 4.30/5pm, and some arrived after 5. I myself got there around 1pm and left at 9.
Most of us who regularly attend are self employed or work part time, so we're usually able to do this on a week day. We will definitely try and do this on a weekend once though!
