Wisps of water as they cascade over the rocks in Jackson NH.
Usually, cameras are used to capture a moment. For me, I am capturing the feeling of the falls.
The motion, the silky feeling.
So, I play a bit with the settings. There's a neutral density filter on the lens, to let me open the shutter for longer periods, while also allowing less light in for the rest of the scene. It basically cuts a few stops of light.
Camera, on tripod. A remote shutter release, to eliminate camera shake.
Perfect to participate in the “Daily Photo Contest” organized by @juliank in the theme : #longexposurephotography
