The Love it/Shove it Challenge!

This is my contribution to the Love it and Shove it challenge by @snowpea . I was nominated for this challenge by @saffisara in her own love it or shove it post

This fun challenge only has a few rules which even I could follow:-

❀️ List five things that you love

🀬 List five things that you really dislike

βœ”οΈ Use the tag loveitshoveit

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Tag as many people as you like, and you do not have to be tagged to create your own Love it or Shove it post if you wish.

So with the formalities over, let's get straight on with the challenge.

My Loves

1. I love coffee β˜•οΈ of course, when I'm not drinking coffee you will find me roasting it to sell to my customers - and helping people with coffee roasting machines to keep them running.

2. I love my family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦ , they are a crazy bunch but we do have some good laughs together in between the time I spend at work and sleeping.

3. I love Snowboarding πŸ‚, it's a great sport for exercise and enjoying fantastic mountain scenery. I have not had chance to go away for a few years but hopefully will do some time soon.

4. I love Roast Beef Sunday Lunch with Yorkshire puddings πŸ„ and of course a good selection of vegetables.

5. I love Steemit has to be here! πŸ˜ƒ I love Steemit and it's diverse range of posters, where else can I learn something new, be amazed at photographs from around the world of many places I might never get to visit but have at least seen them, enjoy incredible original music from artists, writing, poetry - and most importantly have a good laugh with people from around the world who I might never get to meet in person, but still feel like they are close friends.

And now the shoves

1. Never having enough time in the day to get everything done I would like, it's really frustrating and despite my best efforts at time management I always seem to fall short of achieving everything I would like to. I'm not very good at delegating tasks at work which does not help, and tend to do many things myself I could pass on - but often it's the thought of spending 10 minutes explaining how to do it or 5 minutes doing it myself..

2. People who are conceited. Really does annoy me, I understand that some might have earned the right to be like that - but is it really necessary to basically gloat about it. I'm a firm believer that we are all equal, sometimes we are still finding our inner potential but with help and guidance anyone can go far and achieve what they wish.

3. Theft and dishonesty - taking from the hard work of others instead of working yourself, it is easy to hide behind personal circumstances, lack of opportunities or misfortune - but there are plenty of people in the world who went from absolute rock bottom and through hard work and tenacity were able to achieve great goals. @robertandrew gave a very good example of this in his post It can be tough but all things are worth working for

4. Transportation delays - Planes, trains or automobiles getting from one place to another is increasingly becoming a long drawn out process, it frustrates me especially because I have to drive quite often - and you can not even do something useful while stuck in a traffic jam. I try my best to avoid travelling where I can nowadays just so the precious time I have is not wasted in a queue.

5. People who hurt or neglect animals. As a family we have no pet's at the moment, my boy's would love to have a dog but we are in not in the position to properly look after and care for one so I will not allow it. My family past and present have always had dog's, my Grandparents had many Greyhounds and my Aunt has 3 dog's she trains for agility events and run's groups for dog owners to train their own pet's for agility events. We enjoy visiting and spending time with them, but it's a big commitment keeping a dog well exercised, looked after physically and also in good health with regular trips to the vet. Keeping an animal and not looking after it to me is wrong, if you can not sufficiently feed or care for it's needs you should not have taken it on in the first place.

And that is my 5 Loves and Shoves, I have to admit I struggled with the Shoves because generally I am very tolerant of everything, to be honest pretty much anything edible I will eat, and I somehow find the good in nearly every situation. My shoves might be a little controversial, but I am more then happy to debate them in the comments. And @snowpea - I would have made some sort of creative banner for the start - but I lacked the time and the Simpsons Shove gif was the best fitting one I could find - it's not directed at you though 😳 And I did come up with my own design for the post, seeing as someone took all of @snook love or shove it layout and used it for their own just editing the 5 points 🀬

Tagging people is going to be a little hard, I'm so behind I have no idea who has already been tagged. But for this one I will tag @askmee , @debralee , @maruharraca , @dabeckster and @hangin
