Weather you want to bake, and you look at your cupboards like Mother Hubbard without the right ingredients needed to create your recipe, or your wanting to play with a recipe to make it more healthier what ingredients can you alternate.
Measurements may need to be played around with to get the right sweet flavor to your liking.
For 1 cup or sugar alternate 3/4 a cup of either dates, figs or a mixture
alternate appoxly 2 teaspoons of honey - if you like like sweet you may want to add more.
or you may want to try an over ripe Banana for sweetness also
Alternative to Eggs is either 3 tablespoons of grounded Linseed or Hemp Seeds mixed with 1 tablespoon of water.
Butter
Coconut Oil can replace butter, unsure of measurements. - may be half of what the butter recipe says.
When trying to remember if Olive oil was a alternative for butter, in the research landed on a site that has six different alternatives to butter here -
Flour
Alternatives to everyday flour are organic, spelt, grinding your own flour from seeds, or using rolled oats - haven't tried these options out yet.
