My colleague, Patrick wished me "Happy Birthday" on my Facebook Timeline and offered to treat me a meal for my birthday.
Patrick is no any ordinary colleague of mine. I knew him before I joined this company. He is a coach in a boutique gym called Crazy Monkey Defense in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. I learned Brazillian Jiu-jitsu and Boxing from him.
But what makes him extraordinary is his attitude. He's the first one who lent me an ear when I was lost. He's the one who gave my manager good words about me. He's the one who taught me to fend for myself.
Thus, this year's birthday celebration with Patrick is special to me, because this person has helped me a lot. Wait, who's the other guy?
His name is Tack and he's one of my colleague as well. He kinda joined in 'coz he asked. So they split the bill 😄
We started off with dinner.
I ordered Cuban sandwich
They ordered the same thing, Apple and Pork Burger
Every birthday celebration must-have, a cake. On the left is Patrick and right is Tack. They're funny right?? 😆
Lastly, the happy birthday girl and the yummilicious dark chocolate cake.
Guess what, that's my FIRST birthday cake of 2018. They were shocked by this breaking news and told me to demand more from my boyfriend 😂😂
Maybe I need to raise my standards a little bit more, huh.
