I didn't have much to write about for Valentine's Day (since I don't celebrate most of the holidays on the calendar), but I thought I'd use the occasion to start a series of posts highlighting not individuals but groups of Steemians that might be of interest to the rest of the community. So it is appropriate that I start with a list of couples.
Back when I was running the Steemit Bounty Contest I wanted to find out the connections that people have outside of Steemit, and so many of the contests were designed to find out the relationship that people have.

The first (and probably most successful) of these bounties yielded an interesting list of couples on Steemit that I will share with you here today:
- @techslut, @mrlightning and @poet are in a polyamorous relationship, sharing their love for each other and contributing their various talents to the community.
- @carrieallen and @chrisroberts who are both very much love with words and with each other :)
- @mihail.tsvetkov and his wife @kanoe that live a spiritual and fulfilling life and share their knowledge with the community
- @therneau and his wife @jusipassetti that share with us the joys and frustrations of the real world and how we can better cope with it, as well as their adventures on Steemit
- @rt395 who is very popular and active on #blockchainbi and his wife @tokyowomanslife
- @simba and @rainbowdash who haven't been very active lately but I hope to hear more from them soon
- The sweet and delicious @mrsbiscuits and @grahambiscuits
- @hilarski and @anahilarski who were expecting a baby to join the list of Steemit families
- Two Australian couples @jackmiller & @sylviamiller who do a lot of great work with charities, plus newcomers @insideoutlet & @shai-hulud who I met through #teamaustralia and I believe they are on the @isleofwrite
- @rocking-dave (who as many know is very active on Steemit) and @naydenova who is a very talented photographer and they are such a creative couple
- @lynncoyle1 and @briancourteau who I have just come across because of the #newbieresteemday initiative
- @kommienezuspadt and @vermillionfox who dazzle us with their photography and art
So for the people new to Steemit and wondering what kind of people we have in this community, you'll be glad to know that there are many couples around so if your significant other isn't on Steemit yet then perhaps this is a good post to get them interested :)
