Kimbo Slice Will knock you the fuck out and this strain will do it too! The name fits it perfectly.
For my gram today I'm trying out the Kimbo Kush. This Indica dominant hybrid is so strong on the Kush side its almost like smoking a pure indica strain. This strains genetics come from Blackberry Kush mixed with Starfighter. The gram came in at 20.3% total THC and 0%CBD. The buds where two perfect tips and almost no trim. They feel like a super dense memory foam chunk that was deep fried a couple of seconds. Breaks up easily and doesn't turn to powder. Perfect feel for rolling joints.
The packaging was a small glass jar with a black screw on cap. It had a little foam disk sealed to the top of the glass under the lid and the sticker was attached to the lid and jar. On the side it showed the harvest date and some manufactures information. This was the first time I was really happy my gram came in a jar because I think the nuggs would have been destroyed in one of the regular baggies. I give the package a 4 out of 5.
The smell of this is a deep Kush smell, almost has an earthiness to it, The Starfighter in it adds a nice citrus note that usually doesn't come with such a strong Kush smell. When smoking it the blackberry is the dominant taste, very earthy on inhale and then that black berry comes in at the end. I also noticed almost a liquorice taste. It is a little harsh but just a little. Not much of an expander. I give this one a 4.5 out of 5 on taste. If you like a strong Kush taste and a little fruity and citrus on the back notes then this is one to check out.
The high from this strain is heavy with the indica, super relaxing and almost sleepy. This strain hits you hard and fast just like Kimbo Slice. 2-3 min and your feelin it. I had a super case of the munchies about 30 min after smoking. Also I was almost sleepy, where I was thinking about a nap but never actually needed one. Very relaxing and something that would help with sleep. A high that might have you so happy you break into a giggling fit. If you like indicas this might become your new favorites. 4.5 out of 5 for the high.
This gram was $12 out the door with tax included. I would say standard for this level of gram. 3.2 out of 5 on the price. If it wasn't good quality like it was then the price might be upsetting. I always wonder how much of that price comes from the fancy little glass jar. Still nothing to be upset about.
As for a total rating on this gram I would give it a 4.3 out of 5. If you really like a hard hitter that puts you to sleep then you might rank it higher. Would I buy it again? sure, if I wanted something to smoke at the end of the night to chill and fall asleep watching a movie this would be a great pick in my opinion.
