Hail the day! Hail the day!! Mani/Pedi Day!

Good morning! Happy #MarketFriday! Today it is all about me. We are just at the door to the Nail Spa. I believe I see myself in the reflection, trying to not be seen. Fail!

I see it. Not this one, but a chair further down the line. I think it has my name on it. Denise Yes. That's it. I slide off my shoes and my Julie - the only person I let do my pedicure, draws the water, making sure it is not too hot and not too cold. As always, it is just perfect. The magic fingers of the massage chair lull me into relax mode. Oh, Julie takes good care of me.

She is good that way. Sigh

The bowl is outfitted with a protective plastic cover. That helps to keep everything sanitary and everybody happy. I stick my feet in and the water begins swirling around while I sit in the chair and let it give me a gentle massage. A little more to the left, please.

Pick a color - Any color! Summer is over and I am not feeling too Autumnal at the moment. Something that catches my eye, but, nothing too over the top so that I can't wear it to a meeting without sitting on my hands. Oh, find me a conservative color and be done with it. I'll paint the town this weekend.

Julie is going to do a Spa Pedicure. It is different than a regular one as cleans and removes the dead skin cells from the feet and toenails. Yes, we all have few dead ones, just hanging out. But, by exfoliatin<pg, It helps prevent nail diseases. Then a nice foot massage that rejuvenates the skin all the while, relaxing the muscles. Oh, nice hot towels wrapped around your legs feels so nice. Again and again new ones are put on.

A warm paraffin mask to help nourish the skin. It makes your skin feel a little bit luxurious. Pedicures are not only for females. I always see at least one man every time I go.

The polish goes on after about 45-50 minutes of foot treatment. How can you say, thank you?

Ready to shift stations and do the hands. Same treatment, different location.

She poured some lukewarm water into a Manicure Bowl Clear and added some lavender soap for me to soak my nails in. They were left for a couple of minutes to soften the cuticles... and those pesky dead skin cells before they were removed.

It is best if you let your nails air dry, so I come over to the station and sit for a few minutes and let them dry thoroughly. I look down and there is the basket of throwaway flip flops in case you forgot yours for the pedicure.

She does a great job. I never go to anyone else there. Ever.

#18.jpg

Good-bye, Julie!!! Until the next time!!!

#19.jpg

No sooner had I gotten out the door and turned around to look - and there she was again. Hard at work.

#17.jpg

I go home, completing my #MarketFriday... a little different than normal and there were no prices on anything. I wish every market day could be like this.

Well, thank you as always for coming along with me to my #MarketFriday adventure. I hope that you had one too. I look forward to reading them! Don't forget to peruse the other Markets that are linked below! They are from all over the world and I must say, quite interesting in so many ways. Enjoy!!
