On a day before tomorrow,
On a day which is today,
A terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusca crossed my way.
This is JJ [jay jay].
JJ is more of a nocturnal being. It or he or she prefers to stay in its calcareous epiphragm during the day. But once the sky opens the party really starts going lui lui lui!
Although thunder puts our friend in a state of highest alertness...
falling droplets descending from the sky caused by rain infuse the same euphoric sensation as a dog being caressed on the spot where it's tail roots ascending from its lower body in our mollusca, JJ, which further defines itself as a helix pomatia.
Feeling the refreshing droplets on the shell of JJ makes those eyes wibbly wobbly resulting in a dance superior to every tango mankind can perform.
The tingling sensation is, although widely spread, not in correlation with the acid, a main ingredient in Chinese rain, but is rather a reaction of mechanic nature. Comparable to standing next to a subwoofer during a long night of heavy techno.
JJ the terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusca which rather prefers to be addressed as a helix pomatia likes rainy days.
JJ and its or his or her adventure was inspired by @aedroberts and his mind bewitching adventure @aedroberts/marvelous-tales-13-the-daze-of-obscured-sunshine
And of course by @playfulfoodie and her marveloustales contest @playfulfoodie/marvelous-tales-contest-13-announcing-winners-and-the-next-contest
And although I don't know if this piece of art will fall under the definition "tale" it's pure existence is solely thanked to this contest so be sure to take part in it too!
