This week we are cooking with Wood Element, which is good for the liver and gallbladder. The color associated with the liver and gallbladder is green and the flavor associated with it is sour. It is also associated with the emotion of Rage. The dishes we prepare will be good for the liver and gallbladder and will reflect the attributes of the wood element.
I am happy to participate in this challenge, I want to present a recipe originally made by me, it was taken from my mind and I can tell you that it is one of the most delicious recipes that I have been able to try with this vegetable.
but first I want to tell you about each element that I use in it.

Vegetables to clean the liver:
Broccoli and Cauliflower
Cruciferous vegetables are essential to clean the liver and keep it in the best possible conditions. In general, all of them are good for this important organ but, among all, broccoli and cauliflower stand out for their ability to increase the production of natural enzymes in the liver and promote the elimination of toxic substances such as carcinogens. Remember that vegetables have essential anticancer properties to reduce the risk of suffering from this type of disease.
Turmeric is the liver's favorite spice.
A recent study revealed that a very important spice of oriental culture greatly benefits liver health. Turmeric, comes from the root of the plant "Turmeric", and is widely used in kitchens of all eastern countries, as it has properties that give color and great flavor to the meals served in these places.
This plant should not be confused with an existing one in India; The name of the specimen from India is goldenseal, also known as "Indian turmeric"
Turmeric in natural medicine
For thousands of years, plants and their derivatives have been used as an alternative to improve the health of the body in general, so the use of turmeric as a medicinal resource has given great results making against very dangerous diseases, such as hepatitis.
In turmeric there is a molecule that completely composes it, its name is "Curcumin", which can be used as a coloring for food or for some cosmetics. In Asian culture, turmeric powder has always been used to relieve frequent aches such as upset stomach, joint pain caused by arthritis, and even to reverse the effects of low energy.
What is the effectiveness of turmeric?
One of the studies conducted to verify the efficacy of turmeric, invited more than 60 adults with high levels of ALT (alanine aminotransferase) in the bloodstream. This enzyme is produced when the liver is very swollen, so it acts as a detector of diseases that can attack it, such as hepatitis C, or other conditions that cause high levels of this substance.
The importance of consuming garlic for the liver and gallbladder
As in any other food plan, the ideal is to add them little by little to the daily diet. It is recommended, for this particular case, to perform two liver and gallbladder cleanings twice a year and, in turn, to leave aside foods that are not good for health and these organs. A good option is to add one each week.
1-Garlic: with a small amount you can activate the enzymes of this organ and eliminate toxins. In turn, it contains selenium and allicin, which make it possible to clean the liver better.

By doing this cleaning you are removing toxins from your liver, secretions of bile that have not been released, as well as grit and gallstones. It is very easy to perform, only discipline and will is required.
In the mornings:
The juice of a lemon with extra virgin olive oil (excellent quality), well mixed, take a teaspoon to mix with saliva, fasting.
The combination of both substances stimulates the gallbladder causing its emptying. Once the bile is released, it helps to expel the existing stones in the vesicle.
This treatment should preferably be done for a full month, without rest. After 15 minutes as a minimum time you can have breakfast, preferably wait 40 to 60 minutes before eating.
It is safe to take this mixture, however you have to keep in mind that liver cleansing involves the release of toxins that have accumulated due to poor diet, medications, junk treats; consequently there may be some symptoms, which is called "curative crisis": diarrhea or abundant and malodorous stools and perhaps change of color, gas, tiredness, lack of appetite, nausea, headaches, mucus, bad body odor, very dark urine , rashes on the skin, etc. These symptoms occur regularly during the first week, even then the treatment should not be stopped.

Now we go with the recipe, which is very simple.
Wash all the ingredients and cut them as small as possible, but first place a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan, then add the garlic, then the parsley and green onion, cook for a few minutes and then add the turmeric and cauliflower. We take half a cup of water and add it, cover this preparation for about 7 or 8 minutes until the cauliflower is soft or tender, serve and is ready to eat.
