"Successful Community Meetup and Orientation!"
Yesterday was a blast! Our first ever community meetup and orientation about the steemit platform was very successful. Of course as an organizer I arrived first at the venue which was in Jollibee Tibanga 30 minutes before the event was scheduled to commence. Shortly after that my girlfriend @dnnjyz arrived. We ordered foods for snacks, talked about steemit then my sister @shairanada and her friends arrived. I was shocked by their numbers yet very thankful that they’d come to learn and earn. I gave them a little idea about the steemit platform which I don't know if it helped LOL! Minutes later Mr. @juvyjabian our adviser/mentor arrived!
He briefly explained the steemit platform, how it differs from any other social media platform like facebook etc. and how they could possibly earn by just posting, commenting and liking posts. Majority of the participants were not knowledgeable about blockchain technology and so Mr. @juvyjabian provided an overview about it. We, even I, were amazed as I was not well-informed also. He also talked about his experience in the platform and how he becomes so successful in it. Everyone was motivated and inspired and become excited to start their adventure in steemit!
The event was successful indeed! I can see that they are enthusiastic with the platform. The group then talked about their future posts in steemit. We shared ideas and laughter! I really am happy to be part of this steemit group! I look forward to seeing these guys become successful in the platform and I do really hope that they'd become famous authors in steemit someday!
