On June 4, 2017, we are committed to advancing Steemit by going through community-building. Then as the pace, of time, the community we build is developing very extraordinary. We did not expect that the community that we built up to now has reached 120 members even more it happens within a period of 1.5 months.
How do we work in building communities?
We have a motto that, there is no word "arrogance" in developing community networks. We continue to invite anyone, whoever he is to join in Steemit through prospects individually or in congregation. This is what we have been doing. So far we have cooperated, have invited people all over Indonesia to join in Steemit. We work without salary, but we are persistent and remain optimistic that what we do now will definitely pay off someday.
How do we get them to join? We invite people with a gentle heart, providing solutions and ideas we know in Steemit. " Invite them to join, taught starting from the way the registration of the account until the stage of withdrawal of the proceeds of rewards obtained from Steemit. All that we do so that people can work and feel what we have felt in Steemit either in the form of rewards or new sciences, and new friends are fun in Steemit.
Meetup event
On July 9, 2017 we have conducted a "meetup". So far we have successfully established the "Steemit Community of Indonesia" and so far we also think with the formation of the community needed some rules or discussions that need to be discussed together so that the community we build can survive and respect each other Steemians.
Of the total members who join our community, they are very enthusiastic in responding to this "meetup" event. Even some of those who can not attend the "meetup" event also provide remote support via social media or via phone. Present at the "Meetup" event we estimate about 60 Steemian Indonesians who have joined the community. Some of those who can not attend are not because they do not care about the "meetup" event, the reason they can not attend because of the distance and time or their busyness.
The discussion that we discussed in the "meetup" was delivered by our friend @rizaldamti. He is the speaker in this event. The discussion is some of the great points we have noted, which we have co-authored with the previous event in "Silaturrahmi Bersama Steemian Indonesia" event. There are also big points discussed are:
1. Definition of Steemit
2. How steemit work
3. No plagiarism
4. The purpose of forming a community
5. build community together
6. Try to provide useful postings for the crowd
7. Develop any posts you want posted
8. And do not ever expect that Steemit to make money, because money will come by itself if we give our best works.
9. Social activities of all friends of Steemit Indonesia
10. We must help each other community (mutual support)
11. Make group rules
12. Each member shall comply with the rules
The above points have been discussed in the "meetup", @rizaldamti has explained from the beginning to the last stage and the atmosphere being communicative, and full of brotherhood. Some of the Steemians also using the opportunity to get to know each other more closely, share contact numbers, and even follow each other on the network Steemit.
After the completion of the above material submission then we continue with the question and answer session. This question and answer session we did so that the Indonesian Steemians better understand, better understand about steemit flatform.
One of the Indonesian curators, @levycore answered all questions raised by Indonesian steemians. Some of us are some who do not understand, or some are already understood, in this session we take advantage of the opportunity to share knowledge about steemit.
Indonesia Steemit community has also recruited people who are experts in writing, also present in the event "meetup" people who have experience in writing. He is a journalist and writer in Aceh and Indonesia. He has been with Steemit since May 2017. Looking at people who are really good at writing, we invite him to join the community.
His name @ayijufridar , is no stranger to indonesian journalists and writers, but some of us are not familiar with him, he also introduced himself in this "meetup" and share his experience in writing and give special tricks in writing. On the occasion of "meetup" he share the complaints he felt since joining in steemit, and aslo giving alot advice to writing. We are very proud of the joining of experts in this community.
We also recruit some photographers and art experts. The event was safe and conducive, the event was a success, we are very grateful to anyone who has supported us.
