Hello Steemians,
I know you must be wondering if I have abandoned movies.. Hell no!! My diary is a section where I gist you about my daily activities. So today I was less busy after writing my report on yesterday's meeting. Click here if you missed the gist. In the spirit of #project20millionnaija by @stach I decided to tell everyone about steemit. My office twiny has been skeptical about steemit but after I showed him my post about yesterday, he decided to sign up immediately. I also told them about the meetup coming up on the 7th of December and they were all excited. My twiny said meeting other steemians will prove that steemit is real and is being used by real life people.
My twiny, a colleague and a Senior planning officer, my twiny was registering his account with his laptop while I took the picture. They are all anticipating the upcoming event.
I couldn't resist the urge of taking a picture of myself with them.
After talking to them and helping my twiny set up his account, I went to talk to my boss. Meanwhile the other two guys said they will sign up after the event. Luckily for me, my boss is a friendly person, I call him my Kaduna elder brother because he reminds me of my elder brother, always looking out for me. He asked a lot of questions like,
is it a ponzi scheme? How do you earn? What I write about? How Ned makes his money?.lol..
I took my time to show him my blog. And he decided to check everything using his phone. He was excited with the idea of Steemit, and he said he will read through it and sign up. I told him about the meetup too, and he was like wow, this is serious 
businessoo. He said he will love to be there. I took the picture while he was reading about Steemit.
On my way out, I bumped into Mama. And we started discussing.
Mama: Chi Chi, you and your phone every time.
Me: Mama you won't understand, it's business.
Mama: what business type of business do you do that you are always pressing your phone?
Me: if you were young I would have introduced it to you, this one is for young peopleoooo
Mama: Ah ah!!!, I get young people for houseoo, but I hope it's not yahoo yahoo.
Me: noo!! Mama me ke!
Mama: anyways I trust u, so tell me, I want my daughter to start something.
Me: mama its just like Facebook, oh just give me your daughter's number, let me tell her about it on WhatsApp.
She gave me her number and we will be meeting tomorrow to talk about Steemit. I hope she registers immediately.
Even Mama loves selfies. She kept telling me to send the pictures to her.
I'm hoping to meet more people and tell them about Steemit, because it is essential that this community grows. I am happy that @stach brought up this initiative to ensure the growth of Steemit.
Every preparation is being made for Steemup Kaduna. I know it's going to be a success and I'm looking forward to meet notable steemians like @ejemai
@michaelcj will surely deliver as he is one of the organizers of the meetup.
