Thank God for the public holiday yesterday, I was able to meet @michaelcj and the newest steemians @chiromakhan and @casweeney for the preparation of the Steemup Kaduna event coming up on the 7th of December.

Publicity is an important tool to attract people to an event. The venue of the event is Cooperative College, Kaduna, we all know that higher institutions are places filled with youths, so we decided to do extensive publicity in the college. We hung banners at different entry points of the school.

While we were hanging the banners, we met schoolboy and he took us round the school. Showing us hot spots of the school to hang the banner in order to gain visibility. Of course he registered his account and is awaiting activation.

I think #project20millionnaija powered by @stach is a great initiative to attract more people to Steemit as well as investors. We were able to share handbills to the people we met yesterday and judging from their enthusiasm, I have no doubt that Steemup Kaduna will be a huge success. Everyone wants a social platform that will reward their time.

Steemup Kaduna is aimed at bringing creative and talented people into Steemit. And I can't wait to meet reputable steemians like @ejemai and @xpency whom will be travelling from Port Harcourt and Abuja respectively to Kaduna to attend this event.
The people I have met so far are anticipating this event as much as I am.
More publicity is being carried out till the day of the event.
