Today after work, we had coffee session little meet-up and discussing about how to grow the community so everyone in the community will benefit.
Growing the @teammalaysia community is our priority. @papanog had this wild idea on how to encourage especially newbies to keep on posting good content and get upvoted. You can see his post on the wild idea of his here. Since he has posted, I’m here to post my thoughts on his ideas, the objective will be the same.
I have attended bootcamps and masterclass session, and I know I benefited from attending this meet-up. Not only in monetary format, but also in personal development in making me a better person and I want to continue sharing the benefits of steemit to all my family and friends.
So here we are, setting out on our adventure to try a new thing on how to share the total sbd among the 3 of us @papanog, @davidngtv, and myself @wilsonkoh. Whatever total SBD we collect from this or our meetup post, we will share it equally among the 3 of us by the end of 7 days payout.
Why are we doing this?
To encourage newbies or whoever does a meetup session especially on bootcamps, or masterclass, or steemit gatherings, to share the profits. We think it can help the newbies especially to encourage them to continue posting.
Example: if 10/20 people newbies or senior steemians gather for meetups like bootcamp and masterclass. They will required to do the following to qualify the sharing of SBD payout after the 7th day.
Conditions
Must attend the bootcamp or masterclass
Must write about the bootcamp or masterclass meetup within 24hrs.
Benefits
Encourage newbies to join the bootcamp and masterclass to learn more about steemit.
Encourage newbies to write anything about the bootcamp or masterclass their experience about the meet-ups.
Objectives
Newbies will have more confidents and encouragement to write good contents and grow faster.
Senior steemians with higher SP can contribute more SBD from the pool to grow the communities within steemit.
Growing the communities together.
More offline or Face-to-face meet-ups to encourage closer ties within the communities.
Makes the communities stronger.
All the above will only apply if everyone agreeds to it. Since the 3 of us agreed to it, so here we are growing the communities together. It has to start somewhere, so we decided to start it and called it “SmallLittleCircle”.
Conclusion
If you think this is a great way to grow the communities or you have better ideas, please do not hesitate to share your thoughts so we can improve together. This is our first little initiative to help especially our newbies in the community.
Hopefully this will qualify as part of our little initiative to grow the community for everyone’s benefit as announced by @sndbox-alpha curation initiative in their post here. At the end of the day, we just want to continue growing the community.
