The family and I went on an amazing journey Friday evening, and I came back to civilization with 1000 steemit followers.
For first time in my 45 years of life, I drove half way up to Mineral King on Mineral King Road.
The drive is on partially paved single lane road that has nearly 400 turns for 25 miles. The views are amazing, but the road conditions are extremely poor.
While I was trying to survive behind the wheel Friday evening, @runridefly reached the milestone of 1000 followers.
I had an amazing time with the family last night, following the East Fork Kaweah River toward Mineral King. You can be sure that the family and I will make 25 mile journey on the 398 turn drive.
