Recommended wiki article: Setting up a Miner (Updated)

Intro | Rules | Steem.center

Hi steemians! After 16 days we crossed the halfway of our project's first month to transform Steem.center in the wiki of all Steem related things. We'd like to take the opportunity to recommend this wiki article:

This single article had the collaboration of @raymonjohnstone, @gutzofter, our project's first and second participants, and @wagnertamanaha, which inserted more links and formatted the page following other recent wiki page published. The wiki page also was created from a proposed link by @someguy123, the owner and creator of Steem.center itself. That is, a synthesis of our project in one article, we hope you'll enjoy.

We think mining steem is not an easy subject but if you want to collaborate just direct edit adding new links or info to the Setting up a Miner wiki page. Doing this (see our Rules) you can apply to become a new steem rewarded wiki editor participant. Otherwhise feel free to reply this post commenting or criticizing the wiki content.

1/17/2017 - Update: thanks to @someguy123 warning about the recent @steemitblog annoucement - Steem 0.17 Change Proposal Introduction - including the removal of Proof of Work and the mining's close. The wiki article was also updated now.

Project's Balance

Right now we have 1.148 steem in our wallet, an increase of 55% since the last post 5 days ago. All steem collected in january will be shared with current and future participants just after the end of the month. If you're interested, take a look in our project's introduction and rules proposed and join us if you like. Or just upvote and resteem this post to increase the collected amount as an incentive to actual and new participants.

Thanks and good luck for us all again!
