Secret In The Shadows.

Growing up in such a beautiful place like Moab, Utah one would look at the same red rocks a hundred times without notice. As you go about your day you can find yourself never really looking around and enjoying such a place. It was only until I was sentenced for life with chronic lower back pain did I ever stop and smell the roses a little. I like to go to a special place just down the what I still call "the Egg Ranch Road." It would be know by the modern day Moab as Kane Springs Road. Just head down stream of the Colorado River to where the pavement ends. This was where we used to party back in highschool, and if you look up you will see "Tombstone Rock." The famous jump off point for the base jumpers that looks like a giant tombstone, hence giving it the name. As you continue on down what is now a dirt road for about 3/4 of a mile you will come to a point that you can see a whale. Whale Rock copy.jpg
Now once you have reached this point you are there. It was exactly May 17, 2016 when I was standing in this location and was looking towards the east. There they were just as plain as day. The shadows on the rocks looked just like the picture graphs of the Egyptian Gods my son, and I was looking at for his school homework assignment the night before. It was amazing. If this were some sort of Indiana Jones movie. Who knows maybe the secret to the hidden treasures to save the earth is right here in front of our faces, and we didn't even notice. No but really the way that we view the world might be in the negative. Maybe we should look at the big picture and then take from it the exact opposite of what we see right in front of us. Look to the shadows for the answer not so much the light. Just a thought I wanted to share. Have a nice day from Roxstar Studio.
