As you all may know, counterfeiting is all over the world but mostly in China. It consists in paying people to acquire fake luxury goods. As I explained in one of my posts, this is a practice that is always less expensive than buying the product on the spot or on the website of the brands in question. They sell a lot of brands of cosmetics , clothing and handbags much cheaper than the originals.
It is pretty easy and accesible, you just browse through the tags of major brands like Céline, Hermès, Chanel, to have access to their profiles, on which are posted photos of the articles offered taken directly in the stores. Some buyers go as far as posing with the articles In the fitting rooms, but what you see is the original and what you buy is clearly a fake one.
I am a curious person, so I decided to buy something, to see and compare the quality of it. I wanted to know how simmilar the fake product is in comparaison to the real one. I wanted to buy something that is not expensive at all, so I decided to buy some earings. I will post a picture of the REAL brand earrings below with the price.
To make it clear, this is the first time that I try this, I won't wear them beacause usually I don't even like luxury brand items LOL. And I do not encourage anyone to do this!
I found a website, I wont say the name of it because I don't want to cause any harm to anyone, like I said this is just for my proper curiosity, and I know that these people are doing this because they have a family to feed and sometimes they don't have any choice than to sell fake products ( that's the way I see it).
The earrings I bought, cost me $0.90 ! For this price I expected cheap quality, like very CHEAP. But I was surprised. The material they use was stainless steel which is great. The shape of the earrings are almost the same LOL, they are more yellow toned and the face expression is not the same as the real ones, which made me laugh a bit. Here is what I got.
