A beautiful Spring day - Monochrome Monday
I had another post prepared for Monochrome Monday hosted by @old-guy-photos but since it’s a beautiful Spring day I thought instead I would share a few shots near 42nd Street in NYC taken this morning
The first shot is taken on 2nd Ave looking down 41st Street ok to be correct 43rd Street is going up here but it’s looking down towards 1st Ave
I had the option of taking a snow day today but when I left home at 4:45 it wasn’t snowing and the forecast was for only 2 to 4 inches and ending at midday and no snow forecast in NYC
Well by the time I got to the train station at 4:50 the snow had started and was coming down steady but I thought well there is none in the city so let’s head in
Well as I came out of Grand Central I saw the forecast was not quite correct as you can see there is a little snow on the ground and it’s coming down steady but it still should stop soon so it’s not to bad
And a couple of more shots I thought in mono they look ok and are good for a Monochrome Monday post
These shots were all taken with my iPhone
The good thing is even though it’s snowing it’s not to cold and gave me some new phone shots for this post
