Sometimes a different angle gives a fresh look at a familiar object. We normally see palm trees photographed from the side and at a distance. In this case, @bxlphabet is shooting up from right beneath the tree and the monochrome treatment gives a different look to this photo as well.
He took this shot on an early morning walk to get goldenhour photos for the old @juliank contests we used to have on steemit, Now with this edit, it is suitable for the monomad daily contest be @monochromes and the pc-nature tag as well. @bxlphabet used his LG K20 Plus mobile phone to this photo.
We’ve had a lot of changes steemit and I am sure they will continue over time. It is up to us as bloggers here to change with the times.
I used look at the link for “dead followers” at times and see carnage. Now the creator of that site and the site itself are dead too. Many who have tried here have failed and moved on. I am still posting with my son’s account in hopes he will return.
But I won’t deny my discouragement these days. I hope by continuing to post through bad times, I will be ready when the good return.
