We have come to Week 3 of the Weekly Steemit Health Challenge! Thanks @healthsquared and @sweetsssj for the contest. This week i am going to share with you how i de-stress in the busy, face-paced country Singapore.
Today is a Wesak Day Public Holiday in Singapore. I have decided to bring my kids to Labrador Nature Reserve and Nature Park for a walk. This is the first time we visited the place, we reached there around 9am. The best thing about this place is that we not only can walk in the nature reserve we can also walk along the sea at Labrador park.
We parked our car at Carpark A which is nearer to the nature reserve, the first interesting spot we saw is the Tamarind Hill.
There is a beautiful restaurant inside.
Then we started our jungle walk, enjoyed the fresh air. It was so quiet and we could hear the bird singing, the sound of the nature.
Labrador Nature Reserve is part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, and Kent Ridge Park. Labrador is also a former defense battery, we could see many historical sign board such as war world II.

Pardon me i was very bad in history so i am not going to share too much on history. As i was there to relax and de-stress, i just need to pose and capture beautiful pictures.

The trail were toddlers friendly so very good for family outing! We spent around 30 mins in the nature reserve and reached the Labrador park. There are more peoples in the Labrador park.
Myself was so excited too! because i am Pisces i love sea!
This is really an awesome spot for me to de-stress and relax my mind. There are so many things to worry about but at that moment i feel so good!
It was sunny and hot day, most Asian scared about sunburn and pigmentation. Of course me too! i don't dare to stay too long under the sunlight due to pigmentation. So very important to prepare suncare, this is one of the best suncare to avoid cancer under US FDA approval.
The scenery was so nice so i must sacrificed a bit and take a selfie! i took many selfies but many of them eyes was closed after the 5 second timer! haha.
No matter how fantastic is the nature park and sea, the place where the kids enjoyed the most is still playground! They were playing under the sun for more than 40 mins. After the trip, i asked my son which place are most fun and he replied playground.
While my kids were playing, my hubby took his time to explore the places and took these picture of the Labrador jetty. SO AMAZING right? the water were so clear, and beautiful.
We are so fortunate to be in Singapore, a small country yet there are so many amazing places. This park are just a few MRT stations away from Harbourfront/Vivo city/Sentosa.
After he came back to watch over the kids, it was my turn for my ME time. I just don't know how to describe my feeling! i really need this, looking at the sea gave me a lot of strength and calmed my mind.
Labrador Jetty used to transfer shipments of liquid petroleum to and fro petroleum refinery.
This is how i de-stress after hectic working life style.

不知不觉到了健康挑战的第三周,这周我们要写怎么减压!这太重要了!前几周的我一直处于低潮的状态,有几个晚上也想未来的方向想到睡不着。今天是新加坡公共假期,难得在新加坡决定带孩子出去走走亲近大自然。我们第一次到拉柏多自然保护区,这里超棒的是我们不只可以行山感受森林的气息还可以到沿海公园走走。这里的森林还有很多历史的足迹,第二次世界大战的地点,还有一处有大炮!不好意思姐姐历史比较差没办法解释太多就分享了几张图片。如果认真走这自然保护区大概可以走上一个小时吧。我们迫不及待想找找海边在哪里所以走的比较快。这里的行人道都做的很完善,很适合带小孩子来。保护区也有很多鸟类 蝴蝶类 真的是鸟语花香。听着鸟和昆虫大自然的声音真的好舒服。穿过了自然保护取就到了拉柏多公园,这里好多人。因为靠海,在这里骑脚车的,钓鱼的人都好多。也有很多组织带孩子们来做活动,寻宝游戏等。孩子们最爱的地方莫过于游乐场,虽然是个大热天他们也玩的不亦乐乎。乘着孩子们在玩,老公先去到处看看拍了几张港口好漂亮的照片。他回来后轮到我自己一个人去走走。海边/港口边真的太舒服了!我真的好需要这样的大自然环境让我好好平静一下。我觉得能够在新加坡落脚真的很幸运,新加坡虽然小但是什么都有!我们小时侯哪有这么幸福!这个自然保护区很靠近我上班的公司,而且只要几个地铁站就到市区vivocity或圣陶沙。希望大家喜欢我的分享,我自己也超喜欢这个地方,让我把压力和烦恼都一扫而空。
