Greetings fellow Steemians,
Today was another great day to go Mushroom hunting! Started my day early in the morning, made some coffee and waited till it stopped raining. I had a great start, found several in first 30 min of my hunt.
Although they were cracked a bit, they are still edible, found lots of different mushrooms, but Penny buns and Summer ceps are my favorite!
My hunt was around 10 kilometers long and took me around 3hours all together. Had to stop one time at my aunt and give her my first half full basket of mushrooms, because she is always really suportive and helpful to mee since I was a little.
In return I got a nice breakfast and a cup of coffee. :)
Luck started allready in 5 minute walk..
Penny bun and a fist full of sweet Chestnut's, more than happy with that.
But a minute after... I found another perfect smiling #GooglyEyes Companion Mr. Biggie ! Happy little fellow, more coming soon. :)
I had to take a break for few minutes, chilled, played a little bit with my phone and had great time with Mr. Biggie.. till, again was time to go forward.
A funny thing happened here, where I accidently went in the woods, because cow's were in my way, where I normally found loads of Penny buns, but when I came in the woods and made few steps and came across these beauties.
These were in radius of maybe 1 meter and were such a nice quality and really heavy summer ceps.
Had to stop at my aunt and empty my basket, because it got heavy and I had big journey to go. Also had a break here with a nice cup of coffee and breakfast my sweet aunt made. :)
I collect all kind of edible summer ceps, as long they don't look similar to Devil's boletus nor turn blue if you touch it. This one is rare to find, its Autumn boletus mushroom - another species of summer cep.
Today I found soo many big one's I almost stepped on this little fellow! And no worries, I watch out where I step ;)
Also found lots of Fire Salamanders and several times, there was an edible mushroom around. :)
Here I was already on my way back home, was a really successful mushroom hunt and also a great exercise! I wish you could smell these mushrooms in basket, really something unique, definitely won't be hungry this winter. :)
