Hi everyone, I'm Chris, a professional audio engineer, producer, and indie artist in Ontario Canada.

I have been hearing and seeing many stories of failed attempts by artists to get their music out into the world and have actual real people listening to their art and becoming fans.

I'm sure if you are an artist you've tried it before. (So have I!) You finish a masterpiece and it's ready to show the world. You upload that song to SoundCloud or maybe it's a video as well so you upload to YouTube. This amazing work of art that you've poured hours and hours into - maybe even money to make it sound the way it does.

So you upload it, and what happens next? Of course you post the share links to all your Facebook friends and other social networks planning for everyone to just stop what they're doing to go listen to it because why not? Its amazing right?

....but what happens every single time? Views start to trickle in 3.....6.....7....9.....fast forward to 2 days later..... 18....21.

What happened? Why is this song not being seen or heard by more people? Why isn't every one of those people who heard it not reposting it so their networks can also hear it?

Believe me when I say I've been there and had to take expensive online training in order to understand more of the inner workings of how to make a musical career in 2018 work. I'm still learning, but I have a bunch of FREE information, tips, instructions, processes and more to give you to help in your quest to success in the music industry.

In this free Steemit Web Series, I am going to break down step by step what needs to happen in order for you to have success in the indie music industry.

I'll give you one hint.... It's all based on FANBASE. Just as it has always been.

In the days of mass record label appeal, labels marketed their artists using multi million dollar spending accounts and ad campaigns on tv, radio, billboards you name it. In this series I will demystify the process of how you as an indie artist can hijack the pros old tactics using today's technologies to start a career that actually grows your fanbase and starts to make you money over time.

Place a comment below if you would like to take part in this series and want to stay up to date.

Please resteem this post or share it with anyone you know who this information might help. I don't usually ask for this type of thing, but I really want to reach as many people and help them as possible here.

That's it for now, stay tuned for the first post to launch the series!

Cheers,

Chris
