Beat Battle League Week #13 | Child Hood Memories
Theme for the song we need to produce for this Week Battle #13 is Child Hood Memories.
My inspiration for this week's theme is a fusion of some local home grown Lebanese Jazz, Retro Arabic music samples i used to hear as a kid growing up fused with some vocals from Gladys Knight & the Pips taken off the classic 'The Way We We Were/Try to Remember' released back in 1975, one year before i was born.
For example It was sampled in one of my favorite Wu Tang Clan classics 'Can it Be all so Simple' of the 36 Chambers Album released back in 1993.
Now To The BEAT :
In this beat i wanted to capture the child hood memories of Peace and Innocence vibes. As kids when we had nothing to worry about, just play outside and laugh... Growing up sucks! haha also i wanted to use local Lebanese Arabic Jazz music that reminds me of my childhood fused with my Hip-Hop influence as a DJ and Producer.
