First of all, I thought about creating a daily column or bi-daily or even weekly column about something I care about. Something underground, unexpected and maybe even provoking. I've debated it back and forth of how much effort to put in it, topics and so forth. And i ended up with music as perfect theme. I consume it and I know a lot of useless stuff. Useless to the many and pure gold for a selected few. It is no secret that I'm a metalhead, always was and probably will be. So if this is not your cup of tea, I totally understand.

First out is not really an album. It is an EP. Probably the worlds shortest -but man the 9 minutes it lasts is faster than a Lambo on cocaine. Say hello to Impaled Nazarene:

Impaled Nazarene -Mötörpenis (1996)

Impaled Nazarene belongs to the second wave of black metal. Fused with punk, thrash and a solid dose of finish humor, they still belong to the black metal genre. I find this EP so entertaining that I use it as ringtones on my mobile, alarm clock and so forth. Most of the time a perfect jolt to kickstart whatever I'm about to do.

And that's about it. It is short, fast and I love it.
