Have you heard of the magazine - GQ?
GQ is an international monthly men's magazine based in New York City and founded in 1931.
GQ India has an annual event hosted in Mumbai called - GQ Men Of The Year Awards
Last year, my band ALIF got the opportunity to perform at the event. Everyone from the Bollywood Industry was present - from Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma (whom you can see in the video above) to Karan Johar and even Amir Khan!
Here is a trailer for the awards show which was aired on Colors Infinity TV channel.
It was a wonderful opportunity for us to present our original music to the industry.
We had 5 minutes on stage, and we performed our Kashmiri song - Jhelumas.

The performance was very well received and many of the celebrities approached us post the gig to show their appreciation.

Though this is not the first time I was on television, it was the first time in a show which is widely watched because of the celebrities it has in attendance.
