I just found out that this guy was white. Thats part of the beauty of music. I grew up before youtube and the internet. I relied on audio tapes and LP's to learn about music as well as how to play my instrument(s). It wasnt until the last 10 years that I started discovering what people look(ed) like. Leon has such a soulful approach to music that reminds me of all the guys from the 30s-50s who taught me the Blues.
Music is the ultimate equalizer - I suppose pain, happiness, love, joy and all human emotion "sounds the same". This made me feel good this morning!
