todays morning I enjoyed my coffee on our terrace which opens to a little forest. Mostly I drink the first coffee in the office but sometimes I take the time to enjoy it at home before leaving the house. Usually when the weather is fine or when my girl wakes up with me. "In the summertime when the weather is high, you can find me with my coffee staring at the sky" (or something like that 😁 Mungo Jerry)
For me music makes nearly every moment better than it already is. So today I enjoyed the wonderful song Slow Cheetah from Red Hot Chili Peppers while drinking my coffee. You can interpret this song however you want. For me it's a song to slow down and to focus on the here and now. Like the title already states, as the cheetah is actually the fastest animal when running.
It's a slow song, played with an acoustic guitar but a playful electric guitar for the background and solo, fading out with a synthesizer which is typical for guitarist John Frusciante. For me the perfect song to get my mind right after the night, to slowly wake up and enjoy the morning - give it a listen!
