MyPictureDay Submission | Knit Trawl.

Today before dusk, I was with a friend of mine, passing through the area on Aceh beach, a place where many people visit to enjoy the beautiful sea view. My first goal was to take a picture of the sunset, but the weather is not on my side, thick black clouds covering the sun.

As I sat enjoying some food, from a distance I saw a man sitting on the beach. The adult man is refining his trawl by knitting back some damaged parts.

Finally, I approached the adult man and took some photos. Here I interact with this man, that in a day, the majority of fishing communities around this place trawled on the beach three times a day, morning, noon and dusk, around 5 PM. Unfortunately, I came late, so did not get to see this activity.

These are some photos I take, I just focus on his hands, about how he knit this trawl, and this became my post in the #mypictureday theme.

This is the picture of him as a whole when he knit his trawl.

I took this photo on the Kp. Jawa beach Banda Aceh, using Canon EOS 1300D camera, with Tamron 70 300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Tele-Macro (1:2) lens.
