My First “MyPictureDay”
Today I’m bringing Steemit to a trip around some of Sokndal municipality in Rogaland County. Sokndal is the southernmost municipality in Rogaland County
We will start of in Sogndalstrand, the only “city” in Norway that is protected by law.
This is because of the old wooden buildings from the 1700-1800’s.
Once this was the shopping place for people in the area,
They had 20 stores, 4 bakeries, bank, doctor, school, post office, prison, wearhouses and other stuff. The last store closed in 1990’s
