Geometry in nature #3 - fractals and patterns - with my original photos

In this article I show examples of different patterns. The examples are almost inexhaustible, and the internet is full of them, so it made my job more difficult, only some of my own photos were selected. Very interesting, these patterns are widespread, whether we look at wildlife or the physical world. Their existence is yet another proof of the higher spiritual powers over nature, all of which are we called God or Creator, who is not a person, not male or female but has many appearances.

Come with me for a short trip, where I will show you some small miracles that most people will not notice!

Layering:

Icicles on a drinking-fountain in Székesfehérvár. The photo was taken in January, 15 degrees Celsius bellow zero. It looks like a stalactite in a limestone cave. The structure is the same, but it is built much faster.

Calcification in Egerszalók Spa. Thin layers are stacked on each other. It needs some year to build up.

Fungus on trunk. Because of the intermittent growth of the fungus, it is like a rosette. If you cut a stalactite, it looks the same!

Crackles and Voronoi-patterns:

Frozen stream: Triangular cracks are characteristic.

Recursive fractals

This is the same plant, with opened leaves, beautiful example of recursive fractals.

Stripes and ripples

Tiger-stripes on a common iris. This vein-network is very frequent at flowers.
