The conservatory at the Butterfly House contains a myriad of plant species that wouldn't be otherwise seen here in Missouri. Some seemed they would have come straight out of a kung fu movie with others being from Dr. Suess. It really is a tranquil place to visit, whether to admire the butterflies, the plant life or the sculptures.
This sculpture titled "Psyche Emerging" by Rachel Santel was in the center of the conservatory. The plaque right below it reads:
