New Year, New Me

With the new year already here, people everywhere are setting goals for what they'd like to accomplish in 2017. A few weeks ago, I wrote up a list of resolutions I would like to stick to for the new year. So many people write their resolutions down but very few people actually follow through with them (I admit I am often one of these people). But this year I figured- what better way to stick to my new year's resolutions than to post them online for everyone to see! So without further ado, here they are.


Dear Future (2017) Self,

A new year means 365 days to do whatever it is you wish. 365 days to be a better you. In these next 365 days and beyond, try to do the following...

1. Stay consistent with going to the gym and eating clean. Plan your day accordingly so that you do not fall behind.

2. Spend more time doing things you enjoy. Read books, color, drink tea. Schedule time for rest and relaxation.

3. Learn a new language.

4. Continue to do well in school. Study hard & be ahead of the game. Maybe even take a few classes over the summer.

5. Start everyday with the mindset that you will get things done. It will boost your productivity.

6. Strive to be better, smarter, kinder, and more productive each day. Be better than your former self.

All of these things will make you feel great and be even greater. Treat yourself to the best and give yourself credit for all that you do.
