Our Goal
The main purpose of this @newbiegames account is to make SteemIt more fun and more profitable for everyone, but especially for newbies.
By highlighting (some of) the games and contests that are running on SteemIt, we are giving you the opportunity to have some fun ánd have a chance to win some prizes that will help you to grow your account.
Our Featured Games
Every couple of days, we will update you with a list of ongoing games and contests.
In every edition of our ‘featured game’ posts, we will select up to 3 games/contests that encourage engagement and we’ll give them our highest recommendation. We do this to reward the #newbiegames game makers for using our tag, and to encourage others to do the same.
The more people will use our #newbiegames tag,
- The more games/contests can be played and the more prizes can be won
- The more we can reward our game makers and contestants.

Featured Game #1: How To: Weekly by @howtoweekly
'How-To (Weekly)' is a weekly contest that challenges you to write a 'how-to' guide on a different topic every week.
It'll launch March 25th, so get those tutorials ready
‘How To: Weekly’ is a weekly contest to showcase your creativity and knowledge. By sharing your talents, you have the potential to win Steem Backed Dollars and gain new followers, supporters and upvotes from readers. Each week will be open topic, unless otherwise stated.
Featured Game #2: The conspiracy challenge event! Your shot at 5 sbd prize money. by @deliberator
The conspiracy challenge event is an exercise in creátive writing. The setup is clear:
To enter you need to write a post about any conspiracy theory you have, then post it on your timeline, about ANY subject you like.
It could even be a funny conspiracy, the best entry wins the 5sbd, there will be one judge, not me, who will be impartial. Who that will be I have no idea at the moment, I will find that person before the 7 days is up.
