I definitely understand the need to complete all achievements proposed by the steemit team. After achievement 4 I felt I had known all about steemit, little did I know "it was a lie".
Being a newbie or as I would call it "noob" on steemit, though I had joined earlier I left the account inactive in frustration. I didn't quite understand the point of Steemit until @cryptokannon reached out to me. Sometimes I would just stare at my wallet wondering how the respective steem, SBD and steem power were of any use/value. If so how would they be converted? I would usually stumble upon the poloniex platform, stare wildly for about 5 seconds or so before closing the page again(done this about 6 times now haha).
After reading @yohan2on review of steemscan, it all made much more sense. I also opened the site and messed around for a while, loved the interface though.
transactions/conversions
I understand this tool can be used for conversion and transactions. It's so easy to use, make a selection between USDT, BTC or TRX (I heard TRX attracts a relatively lower fee though, might wanna exploit that :)). Enter a wallet or withdrawal address. As expected your active key would be required for these transactions and Bam! Eezypeezy
Witness
I also understood its easier using this tool to vote witnesses, seeing the witness section in the drop down menu. Though I didn't quite explore this as it wouldn't currently matter being a minnow on this platform.
Aside having a sleek and unique interface, it's great it doesn't require a KYC for someone to use this.
