Hi everyone!
If you are planning to visit my beautiful homeland the Czech Republic soon, you should be ready for some tough weather. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute just announced the country can experience freezing temperatures as low as -9 degrees Celsius (15.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and up to 25 cm (10 in) of fresh snow this week.

This can be particularly important for tourists heading out to Prague to enjoy the advent atmosphere and Christmas markets. The Czech capital usually does not get much snow but it can receive a decent load this time too.

On the other hand, it is the beautiful white blanket of snow what gives the pre-Christmas time the right magical atmosphere. The picturesque Prague streets and old houses look even more wonderful when covered with snow. So put your winter jackets on and go have some snowy fun in the Czech Republic! :)
