Hi everyone!
The St. Patrick´s Day is just around the corner (it is celebrated on 17 March) and this interesting holiday has been increasingly popular all over the world - including my Czech homeland.

Observed to pay tribute to St. Patrick, the patron of Ireland, the holiday has always been associated with the green color - people wear green costumes, some breweries prepare special green beer for that day, many of world´s iconic architectural landmarks are illuminated with green light etc.
Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, decided to join this tradition and picked the Petrin Lookout Tower, one of its most recognized pieces of architecture, to serve the purpose of turning green on the St. Patrick´s Day.

Therefore, if you are hanging around the Prague center on Sunday, don´t be surprised by the unusual color of the Petrin Tower ;)
