Hi everyone!
One of the most famous and visited squares in Prague, the Wenceslas Square has always been dominated by the majestic statue of St. Wenceslas on a horse that is found in the upper part of the square but if you visit this place now, you will find another very interesting feature in there.

Right in front of the statue, a massive artistic installation was set up by the renowned Czech artist Jiri David. The three canvases depict a whale skeleton that has been one of the symbols of the National Museum where a real whale skeleton was hanging up from the ceiling for over a hundred years.
The National Musem has been under reconstruction for the past few years and therefore closed to public, which is why Jiri David named his latest artwork "Do you miss the whale?". The unusual artwork will be displayed at the Wenceslas Square until October 28, which is also the date of the grand re-opening of the National Museum.
