- On 24th December 2017, Sudarshan Patnaik, International sand artist, created the world biggest send Santa face with the message "world peace" at puri beach, Odisha.
- The sand Santa face is 25 feet tall in 50 feet wide.. It is to be placed in the Limca Book of World Record.
- Sudarshan Patnaik also created a sand sculpture of Jesus Christ in the front of Santa face.
