I feel really good today, i hope the day went well for you too? I practically stayed all day trying to brainstorm on what to about getting steemit to every nook amd cranny of my constituency following the steemit meetup we had yesterday in Uyo. I came up with an idea that we'd actually pretty soon but in the main time, I'd write about the steemit meeting of yesterday.
Meet @Samstickkz. This is practically our Steemit boss here in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. You can never get to the venue before him. He's always ontime. So basically he got to the venue first. A meeting scheduled for 4:00pm , he was there by 3:00pm to ensure that we had a space to sit and discussion.
You know the set of people they call the early birds?
Meet @ishotz @emem @eno and of course @samstickkz. They are the early birds. They were sitted before the rest of us came in and of course, made arrangements for the refreshments we had doing the course of the meeting (Don't you just wish you were part of this?😜😜)
Moving on Swiftly, the meeting started off at about 4:15pm and started with an introduction section. So like being a newbie on Steemit, we made the "introduceyourself " post 😁. So the introduction started with @ifioklee to @ishotz @datibomchic @shugar @eno @xpressng (my humble self) @kingjrn @ukemewalter @evelyniroh and @emem ..just along the line, @mritsnobigdeal joined us.
I practically added 12 amazing people to my friendlist and they are all awesome set of humans.
So during the course of the meeting, we had lots of interactive sections. We were allowed to ask questions, answers came from the strongs bones like @samstickkz and @evelyniroh
As seen in the picture above @samstickkz was giving us an insight on the difference between STEEM, STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLAR. That's practically a topic for another day cause I learnt a lot and for short he advice we keep more steem since it's volatile.
@evelyniroh didn't fail to contribute at the end of every answer that was given as well.
Following that we helped @shugar get back on her steemit blog. @kingjrn was on fire yesterday, he gave an answer to @ukemewalter's question on what the option of the 50/50, 100 and Decline when making a post meant. I can bet twas an added knowledge to the newbies.
We also talked about how to boost your posts with bots on steemit like @minnowbooster and its likes. We explained the use of steemvoter.com, we talked about making your post worth upvotes and lot more.
Then finally, we discussed the main purpose of the meeting. The main purpose of our meeting yesterday was to duscuss on the upcoming STEEMIT UYO REACH-OUT. Our plans were all drafted out and we agreed to make some arrangements for fliers, tshirts, placards, bottles of water and lot more. And guess who was made the account officer ?
Me @xpressng. So I'd be incharge of MONEY. Don't you just like the sound of that?
So, For the reachout however, we have fixed a date and it's going to be awesome experience. Just anticipate with maximum expectations. We are taking over the town, we are painting the town steem and steemit grins
Not to forget, while we were having our meeting, steemit meetings were ongoing at two other locations

Steemit Meetup Lagos.
From the looks on their faces, i can tell that they had an awesome meet up. I'm super glad to be part of the Steemit community.
