Embracing Dark, Ecstatic Death.

Such darkness in my room at night,
My hopeless eyes do fight for sight,
All the city lights have gone extinct,
O my Darkling, spare me from your gloomy diet.

The crickets went all silent now,
So strange’s the night, all braveness bows,
I peeped beneath my bed, afraid,
My eyes were touched by eerie sights.

I won and lay above my fears,
Enjoying blindness, lost as seers,
What’s hidden in this veil know not my eyes,
Such great was joy, the darkness now seemed dearer.

Consume me, O my Dear Girl!
Not certain when my fingers curled…
Darling! Darkling! O my dear Love! Thank you!
Rhythm fades, poetry ends, ecstasy is hurled…
