A tree, the living being of the Earth, mistreated and protected at the same time.
The tree is one of the most portrayed subjects in the history of art.
A plant element that stimulates the imagination of those who look at it and those who portray it.
Today I share my watercolor, from the autumnal and decadent subject, and insert a series of trees painted by me, with which I want to document visually and textually, the multiplicity of interpretation of a tree, for colors, shapes, seasons, atmospheres and dreams.
Of the visual and documented considerations with short descriptions, on the different use of pictorial language for a natural subject that apparently does not lead to any reflection or reasoning.

Un albero, essere vivente della Terra, maltrattato e protetto nello stesso tempo.
L'albero è uno dei soggetti più ritratti nella storia dell'arte.
Un elemento vegetale , dalle migliaia di forme, che stimola la fantasia di chi lo guarda e di chi lo ritrae.
Oggi condivido questo mio acquarello, dal soggetto autunnale e decadente, ed inserisco una serie di alberi da me dipinti, con i quali voglio documentare visivamente e testualmente, la molteplicità di interpretazione di un albero, per colori, forme, stagioni, atmosfere e sogni.
Delle considerazioni visive e documentate con delle brevi descrizioni, sul differente uso del linguaggio pittorico per un soggetto naturale che apparentemente non induce ad alcuna riflessione o ragionamento.

The color temperatures I chose, very warm and intense in the central part, let us imagine a fire to crown the game of forces and motion of the painted scene.

the wonder of the snow

The Impressionists abolished black and pure gray from their palettes, for all the situations to be shadowed.
This explains why the paintings of the Impressionist period are very bright and rich in limpid shades.
I tried to represent a mountain landscape where it has just finished snowing.
A very frequent weather condition in the mountains, but the wonder is aroused by the sun rising, which after the snowfall paints violet shadows of exquisitely pictorial quality.
The little girl painted in the painting, tries to go quickly home, pulling her grandfather who instead contemplates the wonder of nature.
She is still small to appreciate the lovely glimpse of the sun after a nice snowfall, better to go home after a school morning.

The energy of the Sun is the most powerful source of the embrace and promotes good mood and vitality in dealing with a new day, with positive, optimistic and serenity.
Two pairs of trees, lovers or friends who embrace each other in the scenery of a romantic landscape of a light that emerges and fosters the loving empathy between us and them.

The abandoned house where the fairies live

A completely abandoned house, but full of charm and mystery. I wanted to portray her from an interesting view, that is precisely when I discovered her among a tangle of plants, palmettes, maritime pines and aleppi.
The main subject, the house, as you can see appears among the lights that illuminate it on the left. I was immediately struck by the windows and shutters torn by time. Even the lack of glass taxes is very impressive.
By contrast I added the plants with purple and cobalt blue shades, with Payne gray forcing.
I hope you like it and make you dream at least a little, as happened in my case.

a watercolor step by step, in which I wanted to paint a tree-lined road with a cyclist and his dog.
As you can see in the steps I tried to emphasize the vegetation and the ground, just as if it were a vital cycle of the growth of trees and their deposit on the ground of the leaves.

I show you the various steps where I pass from drawing to painting the first veils with watercolors up to delineate shadows with violet and cobalt blue.
Very particular is the color of the green sea, obtained with the cerulean blue and the lemon yellow.
The day was extremely bright and I painted the work in about 2 hours, then I went for two or three dives to regenerate.
